• Soil-application of bio-control agents viz, Trichoderma harizianum or T. viride, Gliocladium virens or Bacillus subtilis @ 1 kg/ 100Kg FYM against soil borne diseases and to maintain soil health.
• Seed treatment with Captaf/Thiram (0.2%) or with Trichoderma harzianum talc formulation @ 5gm/kg
• Foliar application of Wettable sulphur (0.3%) or Tridemorph (0.1%) or Hexaconazole (0.075%) or Dinocap (0.1%) or Flusilazole (0.03 %) or Myclobutanil (0.1%) or Carbendazim (0.1%) at 10 -15 day intervals from the on set of powdery mildew and Cercospora leaf spot diseases.
• Drenching with Carbendazim(0.2%) if Fusarium wilt is observed.
• Foliar application of Mancozeb (0.25%) or Chlorothalonil(0.25%)to control Alternaria blight before flowering.
• Foliar application of Acephate (0.15%) followed by spraying of Imidacloprid (0.033%) at 15 days interval to protect crop from yellow vein mosaic virus disease.
